4th-6th Grade Retreat

Formative prayer is key to our ministry at Christ Lutheran Church and we offer yearly retreats as a way for families and children to deepen their prayer life. Our 4th-6th grade retreat is our first retreat for kids as they journey through faith at CLC. This year's retreat is February 18-20th and will focus primarily on the Lord's Prayer.

Find the registration for the retreat and the general details below.

If you have any questions about this year's retreat contact Steven Neaton, our Digital Ministry Director who is leading this year's 4th-6th grade retreat.

People of Prayer

On the retreat we will cover the parts of the Lord's Prayer and through it we will see how God prays in and for us as His people.

Christ taught us to be people of prayer with a prayer:

Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.11 Give us this day our daily bread,12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Matthew 6:9-13

El Camino Pines Camp
El Camino Pines

The retreat will be at El Camino Pines which is located in the Los Padres National Forest and sits at an elevation of 6200 feet, halfway between Los Angeles and Bakersfield. The camp offers outdoor adventures such as archery, rock wall, hiking and more! We have a history of working with El Camino as the location for our 4th-6th grade retreat and can't wait to be back again!
