At Christ Lutheran Church, there are many small groups both on campus and off, where people gather to study the Bible and enjoy fellowship. Each group has its own focus and depth.
Adult Sunday | 9:30 am [Rooms 12/13]
Our weekly study lasts one hour and includes time for fellowship, prayer, and study. While lesson materials and Bibles are provided, you are welcome to bring your favorite Bible. Discovery | 9:30 am [Conference Room]
Discover who you are as a follower of Jesus. Learn how to be a Spirit-Filled Follower of Jesus by studying the God Breathed words of scripture. In the Design for Discipleship Series you will learn what the Bible teaches and how the Holy Spirit can help you understand how the Living Word is active in your lives. Men’s Bible Study | 6:30 - 8 pm [Room 11]
Open for men of all ages and all levels of familiarity with the Word. We use various commentaries to mine as much meaning from the text as possible. No homework is required, just a desire to discuss and learn together. For information, contact Pastor Mike.

Men’s Bible Study | 7:00 pm [Room 11]
Our group of Christian men exists to expand our faith and understanding of the Word of God, and to apply what we learn in our daily walk. We are currently studying the book of Acts. For information, contact Ron Estes.
Explorers’ Bible Study | 7:00 pm [Conference Room]
Come and explore what God’s Word teaches with our Explorer’s Group for adults. We will be starting a study of the book of Exodus. This book describes the difficulties of the Israelites in Egypt and the faithfulness of God who rescued them from a long period of slavery and oppression.The Israelites were taught how to live and how to worship, and through the giving of the Ten Commandments, God showed them how to maintain a proper relationship with Him and with one another. Wittenberg Study Group | 6:00 pm [Room 7]
This is an Introductory Class on the Lutheran Confessions which guide our faith, teaching what Scripture teaches. The Lutheran Confessions include: The Three Ecumenical Creeds; The Small and Large Catechism; The Augsburg Confession and the Apology; the Smalcald Articles; and The Formula of Concord. This year we will also be studying Lutheran Worship with “Lessons on Liturgy” (LOL) to help people to understand the flow and meaning of our worship. For information, contact Felicity Grover.

Coming to Faith, Step-by-Step We are going to begin a study of the Gospel of Mark, and how the twelve disciples came to faith, step-by-step as they discovered that Jesus was not just a good man, a teacher, or a prophet, but the Messiah, the Son of God. Grief Support Group | Alternate Mondays - 7 pm [Room 5]
In “A Grief Observed,” C.S. Lewis says “For in grief nothing ‘stays put.’ One keeps on emerging from a phase, but it always recurs.” We offer comfort and support for those who have experienced loss with a focus on God’s eternal love. For information, contact Felicity Grover.
Recovering our Spirit Cancer Support | Alternate Thursdays - 7 pm [Room 5]
We exist to share together the difficult process of coping with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. We provide each other with spiritual comfort and emotional support, while experiencing the healing power of God’s love that lifts our spirits and helps us feel more hopeful and closer to Christ. Spiritually Fittest (Women’s Fitness Group) | 7:00 pm [Fellowship Center]

Spiritually Fit (Men’s Fitness Group) | 7:00 - 8 pm [Valencia High School]
Spiritually Fit is a group for the men of CLC. Join us for a little exercise, fellowship and prayer. We will spend about one hour per week running and walking around the track getting to know each other better and helping grow our church-based network of men.
