Our youth ministry is all about inviting students and families into a life changing relationship with Jesus. In all of our ministries we aim to make our teachings to be: biblical, challenging, and pertinent.
During the junior high phase everything is changing: relationships, understandings, and even our bodies. Junior high students need to be affirmed for who they are. We want our students to encounter a God who is unshakeable even in the midst of change. Our junior high ministry gathers twice a week, once on Sundays and once on Wednesdays. Throughout the year there will be service and relational opportunities outside of our regular gatherings. Any and all junior high students are welcomed attend any of our junior high opportunities. If you have any questions make sure to contact us!

The high school phase is all about seeing the big picture. High school students need to be mobilized in the mission of Christ. We want our students to see that as faithful followers of Jesus they can make an impact on a broken world that needs one. Our high school ministry has two gatherings, one on Sundays and one on Tuesdays. Throughout the year we offer retreats and various service opportunities. During the summer students going into 9th grade through leaving 12th grade are invited to attend our annual high school mission trip. Any and all high school students are welcomed to attend any of our ministry gatherings. If you have any questions make sure to contact us

Confirmation is the affirmation of ones Baptism. It is an amazing opportunity for our young people since many were baptized at an age where they had no input on the manner. Confirmation serves as the baptized rite to affirm their baptism. Basically, they look back on the day they were baptized and say "yes!" to the promises God makes in baptism and responds with their own commitments to that covenantal relationship. Here at CLC in order to be confirmed we ask that students 8th through 12th grade complete our "Basics of Faith" course ran in the Fall of each year. Basics of Faith is our membership course, but for confirmation students there will be a separate class ran side by side with the Adult class. It is only four weeks, but in the four weeks we will cover: Who is God, What is the Bible? What do we believe? And how do we live and follow Jesus today. After the completion of this course the class will be confirmation on Reformation Sunday, the last Sunday of October.
