7th-12th Grades

Our youth ministry is all about inviting students and families into a life changing relationship with Jesus. In all of our ministries we aim to make our teachings to be: biblical, challenging, and pertinent.

During the junior high phase everything is changing: relationships, understandings, and even our bodies. Junior high students need to be affirmed for who they are. We want our students to encounter a God who is unshakeable even in the midst of change. Our junior high ministry gathers twice a week, once on Sundays and once on Wednesdays. Throughout the year there will be service and relational opportunities outside of our regular gatherings. Any and all junior high students are welcomed attend any of our junior high opportunities. If you have any questions make sure to contact us!

Wednesday | Encounter | 7:00pm - 8:30pm in the Youth Center

Sunday | Sunday School | 9:30am - 10:30am in the Choir Room

The high school phase is all about seeing the big picture. High school students need to be mobilized in the mission of Christ. We want our students to see that as faithful followers of Jesus they can make an impact on a broken world that needs one. Our high school ministry has two gatherings, one on Sundays and one on Tuesdays. Throughout the year we offer retreats and various service opportunities. During the summer students going into 9th grade through leaving 12th grade are invited to attend our annual high school mission trip. Any and all high school students are welcomed to attend any of our ministry gatherings.  If you have any questions make sure to contact us!

Tuesday | Impact | 7:00pm - 8:30pm in the Youth Center

2018 High School Mission Trip

When: June 3rd - 9th
Where: Navajo community of Black Mesa, AZ
Cost: $430
Who: All current 8th grade students to outgoing 12th grade students

We will step into a region where Christians are often disdained for their faith but where churches across the Navajo Reservation are striving to honor God in the midst of poverty, addiction, and other challenges. Our team will have a truly unique, cross-cultural experience as we spend time on “The Rez” and listen to stories from The Navajo who continue to live on the land of their ancestors, proudly maintaining their native language and traditions. We will do construction work, relationship building, worship, and enjoy our time in a different culture.
