Council Nominees

We are pleased to introduce the new members of council:  Jean Wims, Kathy Kinney, and Christian Parr. They each bring a love for Jesus, His church, and each of you to the team. 

 

Jean Wims

Jean and her husband Bret have been members of Christ Lutheran Church for 33 years.

The thing Jean loves most about Christ Lutheran Church is that it is a body of believers that love Jesus, inspires them to grow in their own faith and encourage others to as well; it provided a firm foundation of faith in her children, and brought her into fellowship/friendship with forever friends that share in the Kingdom grip of our Lord!

 

Kathy Kinney

Kathy and her family have been members of Christ Lutheran Church for 15 years.

Kathy loves the music, both traditional and contemporary, and the focus on and support of families and children of all ages.  She also loves that our services are liturgically and biblically based. She loves the Pastors and the people, too!

 

Christian Parr

Christian became a member in 2000 when his family relocated from Orange County. 

For Christian, his most enjoyable experience within Christ Lutheran Church is participating in the high school mission trips.  He shares, approximately ten years ago, the high school ministry received a generous gift that enabled the group to relaunch mission trips building houses.  This kicked off a series of high school and college trips to the Central Valley, Arizona, and New Mexico.  He loves serving alongside the congregation’s youth and has developed deep relationships with both students and leaders that are formative to his faith.
