Children's Ministry

Let the little children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Mark 10:14b

Our Children’s Ministry at CLC invites kids of all ages to learn about Jesus and the Bible in a welcoming and fun environment. From Sunday School and Kids’ Church to our Wednesday Night programs and VBS, kids have opportunities year-round to make friends and learn the truth of God’s Word.

Sunday School

Sunday school is happening, albeit not in the traditional manner in which we are accustomed. Each week, starting on September 13th, we'll be posting a short video on our CLC Family Ministry YouTube channel featuring our Sunday School team to help families walk through the weekly lesson. We've ordered extra curriculum for our families to use at home so that kids have tangible material to go along with our online offering.

You can find our Family Ministry YouTube channel here.

Kampers of the Kingdom

Join us Wednesday nights from September 16 - October 28 for our Family Ministry Night.

Dinner will be available from 5:00-6:00pm catered by Nealie's Skillet. Meals will be individually prepackaged for a nominal cost.

From 6:00-7:00pm, while parents meet for their discussion group, kids 3 years old through 6th grade can participate in Kampers of the Kingdom in the Fellowship Center backyard. Activities each week include music, a Bible Story, and an object lesson or craft. All LA County Department of Public Health guidelines will be strictly followed.

One of the highlights of our year is Vacation Bible School (VBS)! Over 400 kids fill our campus one week each summer to experience songs, Bible lessons, games, and crafts, all pointing them to Jesus and how much he loves us.

This year, we hosted a virtual VBS June 22-26, 2020 with the theme “God is Powerful.”
