Young People
It's an exciting time to be a junior high school student. There are so many things to process and make sense of in the world today. We value our young people and upcoming generations by giving them ministries that help them come to know Christ more fully so that they can see the world around them through the lens of the good news of Jesus Christ.
Confirmation is the affirmation of one’s baptism. Young people look back on the day they were baptized and say "yes!" to the promises God makes in baptism and respond with their own commitment to that covenantal relationship.
Confirmation at CLC is open to 7th and 8th graders.
Confirmation meets during our Sunday morning catechism hour from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m.
CLC’s Middle School Small Group meets every other Sunday at the home of Dustin and Kirsten Cuyler from 5 - 7:30 p.m. This group of 6th - 8th graders is currently doing a study based on the book of Ephesians about anchoring our identity in Christ. The evening begins with pizza and fellowship, then moves into Bible study and finishes with games. Please don’t forget to send your child with their Bible.
