Stories of Faithfulness Week 1 | Dana Schmidt

This Lenten season we will hear personal testimonies of God’s faithfulness over the course of life’s ups and downs. “Stories of Faithfulness” will be posted online at 6:00 p.m. every Wednesday.
This week we hear from Dana Schmidt. We hope that hear God's voice in your own life as you hear Dana's story.
Here are some questions to ponder and contemplate after and as you watch this story:
1. Every person’s “story of faithfulness” is a story of sin and grace, brokenness and healing. In what ways has your story been marked by personal sin and brokenness? How has the Lord, by his grace, brought healing and hope out of that?
2. It is not uncommon for us to get “wounds” from life. That is, the fallenness of this world can cause deep pain and lasting harm. Take time to consider your own wounds. In what ways have you handled those, whether poorly (turning to things that only bring further harm) or faithfully (turning to the goodness of God and the healing work of his Spirit)?
