Campus Work Day

Campus Work Day June 26 

 

We are looking for volunteers to help us tackle some campus improvement projects. Join us on June 26 beginning at 9 am. for our Campus Work Day.  Lunch will be provided. 

 

One project is to remove the ivy on the preschool building in preparation for painting.  Volunteers will bring their own garden clippers and cut back the ivy.  Once the wall is exposed, we’ll use wire brushes to remove the plant remnants from the stucco.

 

Another project is to install baseboards in the Youth Center.  We removed the carpet and polished the concrete floor a few years back, but hadn’t replaced the baseboards.  This will require reaching low to glue the baseboards, as well as precision cutting in the corners.

 

Project #3 is organizing our mission shed.  We’ll remove everything in the shed, sort what should be kept, given away, or thrown away, then repack it into the shed.
